As an entrepreneur that ran a successful small business for eight years before making the transition to Human Resources, I bring a unique perspective to my work. I have a passion for working with startups and developing high performing teams.

I first became interested in the development of high performing teams in college. As a hockey player and a psychology major it was the natural merger of my two worlds. I loved seeing how a group of unique individuals could bond over a shared passion and adapt to complement one another’s skillsets. Despite differences in personality and skill level, the team always rose to the challenge and supported each other, resulting in successful outcomes on the ice.
Years later when I started my own small business, I found myself again enthralled with the importance of assembling the right team of people to maintain the company culture, drive results, and inspire creativity. After closing my business I knew I wanted to apply my business acumen, psychology background, and new found passion for all things people and teams full time to the world of Human Resources.
I have spent the last fifteen years working with fast growing startups to create dynamic culture, attract top talent, drive business, motivate teams, and scale for rapid growth. Venturing out into consulting now gives me the opportunity to share my expertise with a variety of growing startups.
